The Uninvited Company was the Carleton College student summer theater company. I made this poster for their 1990 production of Peter Shaffer’s Equus. The illustration is based on a painting from the workshop of Jacques Louis David in the Detroit Institute of Arts. It’s my personal favorite of my poster designs ever. It was a good production too.
